Vaccination of Foreigners

There are several different groups of foreigners in Denmark, who are eligible to receive vaccination for COVID-19.

You are entitled to a free vaccination in Denmark, if:

• You have a registered address in Denmark

• You are living abroad, but are covered by health insurance in Denmark (hold the special health insurance card), including Danish citizens residing abroad, who still hold health insurance in Denmark

• You are temporarily residing in Denmark, but are not a holder of Danish health insurance.

Registered Address in Denmark

You will automatically receive an invitation for vaccination, based on your CPR number when your age group is due according to the vaccination program.

You can access and download your Corona Passport at sundhed.dk after you have completed your vaccination.

Individuals holding the Special Health Insurance Card

Every individual who holds the Special Health Insurance Card and belongs to the group currently targeted for vaccination according to their age will automatically have a vaccination plan arranged.

How to book a vaccination appointment with the Special Health Insurance Card:

Attention: Residents holding the Special Health Insurance Card are now able to book an appointment via vacciner.dk - if there is a problem logging into vacciner.dk please contact the Corona Hotline of Region Syddanmark at tel.no +45 99 44 07 17.

With NemID:

If you have e-boks, you will receive your invitation there, when your age group is due for vaccination. You can subsequently book a vaccination appointment at vacciner.dk or contact the Regions Corona Hotline at tel. no. +45 99 44 07 17 and arrange an appointment.

Remember to bring your ID and your Special Health Insurance Card, when you show up for vaccination.

Without NemID:

You will not receive an invitation for vaccination if you do not have e-Boks. You have to stay informed on when your age group is due for vaccination at the Regions website.

1. The stay must have an expected duration of a minimum of 30 days.

2. The purpose of your stay in Denmark must not be vaccination.

3. You must be of an age, which is currently offered vaccination.
